Fredrick Johnson
Frederick Johnson is a partner with the law firm of Otis, Braun & Johnson which concentrates in the areas of personal injury, criminal law, family law, and municipal law. After graduating from Newport High School in 1989, Fred attended Franklin College in Indiana he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with minors in Journalism and Philosophy in 1993. Fred worked for Arthur Andersen as a manager in their legal document imaging department and left employment there when he was accepted to law school. Fred graduated from Salmon P. Chase College of Law with Honors having received his Juris Doctorate Cum Laude in 1997. Fred was sworn in by the Kentucky Supreme Court as a member of the Kentucky Bar Association in October of 1997.
Fred started his legal career as a law clerk for Attorney Robert Sanders, a well known and highly respected personal injury attorney, and he also interned at the Kenton County Public Defender's office. Fred has always been a champion of the underdog and willing to fight for their rights against overwhelming odds. Seeking to learn and cultivate the skills of a courtroom litigator, Fred accepted a fun-time position with the Kenton County Public Defender's office in Covington, Kentucky. While working for the Public Defender's office, Fred gained invaluable courtroom experience defending indigent people charged with crimes. Fred defended numerous cases from the lowest juvenile cases to the most serious crimes of Rape, Burglary, Assault, and Murder. Fred received training from some of the countries' leading defense attorneys and has since earned a reputation as a tough-as-nails courtroom brawler who is not afraid of any case and is willing to fight to achieve victory and vindication for his clients.
